When Two Planets Turn Around: Mercury and Venus Station Direct
An astrology explainer from the reading room.
Friday the 13th gets a bad reputation, but this one is working in your favor.
Two planets station direct on the same day, Friday, November 13. Mercury turns direct at 9:54 AM Central, at 5°02′ Scorpio, ending a retrograde that started back on October 24. Venus turns direct later that day, at 6:27 PM Central, at 22°52′ Libra, closing out a retrograde that began on October 3.
Mercury has spent about three weeks stirring up old conversations, half finished decisions, and things you thought were settled. Venus has spent even longer asking hard questions about love, money, and what you're worth to the people around you. Both of them stopping on the same day does not fix anything overnight. It does mean the rehashing phase is over, and the road in front of you is finally the thing worth looking at.
